What your smile says about you

MEDFORD, Mass. -- For those who have ever wondered what their smile says about them, wonder no more. The Natural
Dentist, the natural oral care company with clinically proven results, has teamed up with renowned body language expert Patti Wood to tell people what their smile says with a new program called The Smile Personality Analysis.
The Smile Personality Analysis, which lives online at
http://www.whatyoursmilesays.com, hits the road this fall in a mobile tour
allowing consumers to interact directly with the brand. The first stop on
the tour will be at the Head of the Charles Regatta, on the banks of the
Charles River in Cambridge, Massachusetts, October 20-21, 2007.
"A smile is an emotional reaction to a moment or experience, but a
natural smile is also a telling sign of someone's personality," explains
body language expert Patti Wood. "Our smiles are the mirrors of our
personality, they express who we are, what we think and how we perceive the
world."
In the Smile Personality Analysis, there are four different
personalities types, The Analyzer, The Driver, The Influencer, or The
Supporter. Visitors to the website upload a photo of their natural smile
and answer a few quick smile questions. By looking at key indicators in the
face and the responses to the questions, The Smile Personality Analysis
tool is able to determine the personality type behind the natural smile.
Natural Smile Facts:
-- If the eyes have little smile lines that tilt upward toward the
eyebrows and if your lower eyelids lift to conceal your eyes as you
smile, then it's a truly happy smile.
-- A nose that's lifted and wrinkled shows playfulness. If you nose
wrinkle when you smile, you may be prone to giggling. If your nose and
mouth are raised on one side you may appear sarcastic or reluctant to
have your picture taken.
-- A raised chin shows confidence. If the chin is raised very high, it
reads as cockiness or arrogance. A lowered chin suggests a lack of
confidence. A lowered chin with the head tilted to the side while
looking out the corner of the eye is a classic sign of flirtation.
-- Raised eyebrows with a smile and eye contact express interest and
flirtation. Pulled-down eyebrows combined with little wrinkles
emanating from the eyes as one smiles, is a real expression of
happiness.
-- When the cheeks are lifted full and high and deep lines emanate from
the nose, it's an expression of joy. But are you smiling to be social
or do you mean it? Cover the lower part of your face in the photo.
If your eyes are smiling and your cheeks are raised, then your smile
is true.
-- The lips go up at the corners and may part when you're truly happy. A
polite smile involves just the lips. If you smile to suppress your
true emotions your lips will often turn down at the corners.
"We're an oral care brand that's passionate about creating naturally
strong products that inspire natural smiles," explains Nancy Rosenzweig,
CEO of The Natural Dentist.
"When you use The Natural Dentist products, you're putting nature's
pure and powerful ingredients to work for your whole body health. You
benefit from the clinical research behind our product line while enjoying
the great taste."
